A well-known problem of constructing a program that itself prints out is considered in the paper. Extensions of this problem have been constructed. Implemented programs that print a specified number of copies of their own code, a copy of themselves with predefined suffixes and prefixes. The programs are built in Python. The historical and philosophical analysis of the semiotic relation between the name of the object and the object itself is performed. The relationship of the program task, which itself prints out with known semiotic problems and concepts, is considered.
