Computer progress and problems of celestial mechanics: the historical perspective.

A number of computer experiments performed in this work. They are related to the main problem of celestial mechanics, as the problem of N-body. Evaluation of the temporal characteristics of computer calculations of basic decisions in the history of the three-body problem is the aim of this work. The experiments were performed to extrapolate these estimates for the three-liquid gravitating bodies. The calculations use mathematical Maple and Mathematica packages. Visual results of computer simulations are presented. Keywords: three-body problem, celestial mechanics, computer simulation, the problem of Pythagoras.
