About congruences on multiplicatively idempotent semirings.

In this paper, we consider the results about congruences on semirings with idempotent multiplication, including maximal congruences. Special attention is devoted to commutative multiplicatively idempotent semirings, in particular, the ones in which a multiplicative semigroup is a chain. It is proved that the lattice of ideals of any multiplicatively idempotent semiring is distributive.
