Automated calculation of functional zoning in the civil buildings design.

The article is considering the important role of functional zoning in the civil buildings design. It has a main role in planning because of its numerous parameters, depending on civil engineering normative documents. The civil buildings design provides a functional zoning, makes a group of same using spaces into a zones. These zones perform a general functional destination. Standard process of calculation and visualization of functional zoning is expensive and ineffective. It takes a long time. The final result is visible after the complete calculation and visualization. The latest research and publications show the actuality of automated calculation in design because of its fast and exact solution and its possibility of the complete automated process. The article proposes a solution of automated calculation of functional zoning in buildings design, as this task is relevant not only for industry of information technology but also for the industry of architectural design and construction. Automation of this calculation will solve the problem not only reduction the temporary expense, but also give the exact sizes for the functional division plan of the designed building. The article is considering the standard architectural process of calculation the functional zoning, reveals its main defects and proposes the algorithm of automated calculation using graphic editor AutoCAD and its integrated computer language AutoLisp. As a result the automated display of insolation was developed. The algorithm of automated calculation of functional zoning is based on the logical model and requires a realization.
